Counseling

Let's do the work together.
It is hard, heavy, and can be quite powerful; you just have to keep showing up.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and grief recovery specialist focusing on grief and loss, chronic illness and cancer, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I welcome adults of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, neurodiversities, religious or spiritual beliefs, and body types or abilities.

Therapy is most effective when you are able to show up as your whole, authentic self—without judgment, without masks, and without pressure to perform or pretend.
In our work together, humor, sarcasm, and even cussing are not only welcomed but embraced as real and meaningful parts of expression. I offer both levity and compassion, cultivating a scared space that is supported by consistent regulation and grounded presence. Together, we will explore and expand your coping skills—strengthening what already works and challenging what no longer serves you—as you navigate the uncertainties and complexities of this messy, ever-changing world.

Life is hard, heavy, light, and beautiful. Often, all at the same time. I believe it is necessary to create space to unpack what you are struggling with, talk through what is heavy in that moment, and process what change could look like.

For counseling, I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance only, but can provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits. I accept cash payments of $150/50-minute session, sliding scale offered as well.
